Lake Louise Inn offers a limited number of dog-friendly room types. Remember to mention that you are bringing a dog when booking your room. There are dog-friendly rooms set aside for the following room types: Standard Room with Two Double Beds, Deluxe Two Queen, Summit Deluxe Two Queen, Junior Suite, One Bedroom Condo, One Bedroom Condo with Loft, Deluxe One Bedroom Suite, Deluxe Two Bedroom Suite.
To ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all of our guests, the following policies apply to your dog’s stay.
Lake Louise Inn reserves the right to deny dog-friendly stays as they see fit. All dog friendly bookings must be pre-approved prior to arrival.
- Maximum of two dogs per room (only in a dog friendly room). No cats allowed.
- Your dog is not to be left unattended in the room, unless in an appropriate kennel.
- Dogs are not allowed in pet-free rooms, food and beverage outlets, meeting rooms and the pool area.
- In accordance with the Banff National Park regulations, your dog(s) must be on a leash at all times when outside and dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pet.
- Should your dog create a disturbance affecting the comfort of other guests, you will be expected to compensate the hotel for this loss of revenue.
- Any damages to the room caused by your dog will result in additional charges to your credit card.
- Guests with dogs will be required to sign the dog acceptance agreement on check-in. Should you wish to fill out this agreement prior to arrival, you can find a link to the document in the above paragraph.
Please note that 92% of the rooms at the Lake Louise Inn are kept pet free for any guests that are susceptible to pet allergens. Therefore, all dog-friendly rooms MUST be booked prior to arrival. No exceptions. A fee of $250.00 will be charged if a pet is found in a pet-free room.
When cleaning, our housekeeping team takes extra special care of our pet-friendly rooms. Therefore, we charge a dog fee $20.00+GST per night, up to a maximum of $60+GST per stay, to cover additional cleaning charges. Service dogs stay free of charge and are not limited to a specific room type.
