The Lake Louise Inn is located in Banff National Park, approximately 185 kms northwest of Calgary and 58 kms northwest of Banff, Alberta on the Trans-Canada Highway #1. Look out for wildlife along the way!
From the the Lake Louise exit off Highway 1, turn right at the set of traffic lights at the intersection with Village Road. From Banff Townsite
Take the Norquay or Lake Minnewanka on-ramps to Highway 1 Westbound. Drive approximately 40 minutes and take the Lake Louise exit. From the exit, take a left at the traffic lights onto Lake Louise Drive. Stay in the right lane which will bring you to the main set of traffic lights at the intersection with Village Road. Take a right at the traffic lights and drive past the main village and Shell gas station and across two small bridges. The Lake Louise Inn is located at 210 Village Road, past the second bridge on your right.
From Golden
Drive eastbound on Highway 1 for 79 km and take the Lake Louise exit. Take a right at the first stop sign and stay in the right lane which will bring you to the main set of traffic lights at the intersection with Village Road. Take a right at the traffic lights and drive past the main village and Shell gas station and across two small bridges. The Lake Louise Inn is located at 210 Village Road, past the second bridge on your right.
From Calgary Airport
Take Barlow Trail Northeast from the airport (take a left). Take a left again on 96th Ave Northeast and a left again on Highway 2 South. Take Exit 258 to merge onto 16 Ave Northeast-Highway 1 West (16th Ave will become Highway 1). Drive westbound on Highway 1 to the Lake Louise turn-off. From the exit, take a left at the traffic lights onto Lake Louise Drive. Stay in the right lane which will bring you to the main set of traffic lights at the intersection with Village Road. Take a right at the traffic lights and drive past the main village and Shell gas station and across two small bridges. From Jasper
Take Highway 93 southbound (also called the Icefields Parkway). After a 227 km drive, the Icefields Parkway meets with Highway 1. Take the Highway 1 Eastbound exit. Drive 2km and take Lake Louise exit. Take a right at the first stop sign and stay in the right lane which will bring you to the main set of traffic lights at the intersection with Village Road. From Radium Hot Springs
Take Highway 93 northbound. This highway will connect to Highway 1 at Castle Mountain Junction. Take Highway 1 Westbound. Drive for 26 km to the Lake Louise turn-off. From the exit, take a left at the traffic lights onto Lake Louise Drive. Stay in the right lane which will bring you to the main set of traffic lights at the intersection with Village Road. Take a right at the traffic lights and drive past the main village and Shell gas station and across two small bridges.
